Occultist Jan Arvéd Smíchovský, traditional healer Jan Mikolášek, and skiing pioneer Bohumil Hanč. All of these people have been the subject of a biographical film in recent years. And more are on the way: a film about the legendary Czech makeup artist Olga Knoblochová or an epic movie about Tomáš Baťa. Screenwriter Marek Epstein, director Jiří Havelka, actor Josef Trojan, and director and producer Slávek Horák will discuss recent trends and the pitfalls of this specific genre.
