How to Build a Museum of Totalitarianism in the Czech Republic?
Berlin, Warsaw, Budapest, Gdansk. All these cities boast large modern museums of contemporary history. The Czech Republic has still been waiting for such institution. What stands in the way? What is the outcome of many years’ negotiations between the state and Post Bellum / Memory of Nations? How can innovative public centres of modern history look like?
