New Reality: On ideal of beauty, high standards on appearance and freedom

We are surrounded by images and information that tell us what our bodies should look like, what their dimensions, curves, and characteristics should be. The pressure is so huge that it’s fairly easy to start prioritizing appearance over health. How can we maintain balance and health in the society where beauty reigns supreme? Unwanted comments on appearance are pretty common and generally tolerated. How can we assert and protect ourselves? How can we live a good life in a normal, imperfect body? Our guests will be the artist Ridina Ahmed and psychologist and psychotherapist Tereza Maková.
