Psychology of Film: How Do Films Affect Our Emotions

How is it possible that we are captivated by movies even though we know they aren’t real? And why do we bite our nails when rewatching them again? Why do we always cry at Pixar shows? This lecture will focus on emotional responses to various filmmaking techniques. With the selected topics from psychology of film, we will try to find out what happens in our brains while watching a motion picture.
