The Ear

Jan Procházka and Karel Kachyňa started to work on the script for The Ear after the August invasion of Warsaw Pact troops, precisely at the beginning of 1969. In the end, they managed to make a film that was not seen by audiences until twenty years later. The film was released in Czechoslovak cinemas on January 1, 1990.
