Apart from the disillusion with political development, the end of the 1960s brought Jan Procházka the early signs of health issues. His first hospitalisation took place in the spring of 1968 and served as a fundamental idea for the penultimate script written with Karel Kachyňa, with which they rounded off a series of intimate dramas about (extra)ordinary people.
