Naive, nineteen-year-old Tomek spies on his neighbour across the street through a telescope, and becomes infatuated with her. How will she react to his intrusion into her privacy? Polish director Krzysztof Kieślowski expanded one of the episodes of his television series, The Decalogue, into a full-length feature film.
