Artificial Intelligence from a Philosophical Perspective

Artificial intelligence raises enormous expectations, but also deep concerns. It is already widely used, yet its application remains a subject of debate. Many philosophers are highly sceptical about whether artificial intelligence will ever be able to match human intelligence, as there are significant differences between the two. Ivan Blecha from the Faculty of Philosophy at Palacký University will highlight some of these fundamental differences (intentionality, self-awareness, social experience, corporeality).
