Dea Kulumbegašviliová / Georgia, France 2020 / 125 min. / 18 years / DCP
Jana used to be an actress, now as the wife of a pastor of Jehovah's Witnesses, she teaches children the catechism and tries to convince herself that family is her mission. A brutal attack on their community exacerbates the need to find a way out from the deep internal crisis. A narratively exceptional debut of the young Georgian filmmaker Dea Kulumbegashvili.
