Buko

Alice Nellis made her ninth feature-length film after her longest hiatus. It centres on senior-aged doctor Jarmila who inherits a horse named Buko from her deceased husband. Despite her initial fears, she slowly finds her way to the animal and completely changes her life and self-attitudes. Buko is not just an old circus horse; he is a gift from heaven.
