Czechoslovak Television Production in the 1960s
Československá televizní tvorba v 60. letech / 60 min.
During the 1950s, the number of days and hours of television broadcasting gradually increased, and by the end of 1958, Czechoslovak television broadcasted seven days a week. It acquired its first telerecording, later Ampex, to record and replay its programmes. In 1961, a number of licence payers reached one million and another million joined during the next four years. All this confirms that in the 1960s, and later, television programmes were becoming more and more attractive to viewers.
