Ángela and Héctor are expecting a child. However, their idyllic plans for parenthood are
clouded with worries about its future. Ángela is deaf, and there is a real possibility that
their baby will be born with the same condition. What obstacles await the child in a
society that neglects the needs of deaf people? Will they be able to communicate equally
with the baby?
