Eraserhead
David Lynch / USA 1976 / 89 min. / DCP
A surrealistic black-humour film as if written by Franz Kafka, with a visual style not unlike the paintings by Francis Bacon. That’s how it’s referred of Lynch’s feature debut, which still retains its unsettling quality. The world of Eraserhead is like a nightmare from which one cannot, or perhaps does not want to, wake up.
