We have been aware of climate change for more than 30 years. Yet, except for on-going data publishing and founding global panels, we haven’t done anything important. Various climate movements and activists made the last year pretty emotional which finally moved things forward. Grief is not about statistics or rising temperatures. It is about emotions stirred up by the alarm over the fact that the planet and humans may be thrown out of whack. And most importantly, it is about women, mothers of little kids, because it is them who often fear the impacts of climate change more than their male counterparts.
