Kagemusha

The grandiose epic shows real historical figures and events during the Civil War before the unification of Japan by the Tokugawa family. The story tells of the fall of the Takeda family, caused by family quarrels between father and son, from the point of view of a double (kagemusha), who took the place of the killed lord and faced a loss of his own identity.
