The panel discussion with film excerpts will primarily focus on the poetic aspects of Zeman’s feature films, their development and relationship to the contemporary conventions of adventure stories and stories for children and youth. It will also touch upon the production and technical aspects of the projects of the “Czech Mélièse”, as he was nicknamed abroad. The discussion will be hosted by Aleš Říman.
