A movie star, rebel and a cursed poet. He doesn't chase anything, he doesn't fight with bad reputation. He rarely plays in films, but shines almost every time. Early in his career, he was pigeon-holed as a torn romantic young man. Later on, he gained attention with richly grotesque acting and innovatively provocative humor, which brought him fame but also problems with alcohol. Subsequently, he began to excel in minimalistically accurate character studies (America, Dark Blue World, Shark in the Head, A Prominent Patient, Barefoot, The Man with Hare Ears, The Gardener's Year) and garnered his first awards.
