Mean Streets

The drama of two friends, Charlie and Johnny Boy, takes place in the streets and bars of New York’s Little Italy, a familiar neighbourhood to Martin Scorsese, and takes us into the world of petty crooks, hustlers, loan sharks, debt collectors and bookmakers, who mostly work for the gang lords, hiding quietly in the background.
