Nagano Kids

Děti Nagana / Dan Pánek / Czech Republic 2023 / 101 min. / DCP
It’s February 1998 and the Czech national ice-hockey team is in the final of Nagano Olympic Games. Eleven-year-old Dominik enthuses over their success. Her mum buys him a hockey stick, he and his friends form a team and start training. They have to prepare for a big match against the boys from the neighbouring village. Dan Pánek’s second feature film is a celebration of the 1990s carefree childhood, hockey sticks and tennis balls, stubbornness and will to fight for dreams against all odds.
