New Reality: Art as a path to change

Can art change the way society perceives the world? Or is it merely a reflection of things we often overlook? Does art have a real impact on how we perceive people with disabilities? Contemporary film, photography, and visual arts are increasingly focusing on disabilities, social exclusion, and people living on the margins of public attention. We’ll explore whether authentic stories and personal experiences can overcome prejudices and bridge the gap between distant worlds. We will also present a joint project by the Uherské Hradiště Secondary School of Applied Arts and the local social services titled No Different from You and discuss its impact on all participants.
