Night Train
Pociąg / Jerzy Kawalerowicz / Poland 1959 / 93 min. / DCP
An accidentally bought ticket from Warsaw to the Baltic Sea caused a chance encounter between a young woman and a male stranger. During their journey, they are informed that there is a murderer on the train. Kawalerowicz’s film is not so much a thriller, but rather a melodrama and a realistic portrait of the then Polish society.
