Eastern Slovakia, first half of the 1990s. Miky Mika, a reclusive detective who operates on the edge of the law, gets a young, inexperienced partner, Moly. Together they come down on a mafioso who is protected from the highest places and get into a merciless war with the local underworld, police and the secret services.
