Razor Blades

The film’s screenplay was rewritten and postponed since 1990, and the final form is in many ways a follow up of Tyc’s debut Vojtěch, Called Orphan. Razor Blades is also a fateful and existential “amour fou” story with a strong introspection of the main character, a Central European intellectual. The film stars Filip Topol, whose music band, Psí vojáci (Dog Soldiers), also collaborated on the film score. Razor Blades will be screened on the occasion of what would have been Topol’s 60 th birthday. On this anniversary, Czech Radio Vltava broadcasts the music- documentary series Filip Topol, The Dog Soldier.
