Seven Beauties

Pasqualino Settebellezze / Lina Wertmüllerová / Italy 1975 / 116 min. / 18 years / DCP
Seven Beauties
Lina Wertmüller’s masterpiece tells the story of Pasqualino, a petty crook from Naples, who survives the Second World War only through his moral compromises. In a truly peculiar film about the Holocaust, Wertmüller created a grotesque and absurd tale of survival, honour and degradation of humanity during wartime.
