The Dirty Dozen

Robert Aldrich / USA 1967 / 150 min. / Blu-ray
Films about heroic war events have always been a favourite of movie-goers. And twenty years after the end of World War II, the creators still found a lot of stories that seemed to be based on real events, but were partially or completely fictional. Such is the war film The Dirty Dozen, based on the eponymous bestseller by E.M. Nathanson from 1965.
