Romania, December 1989. The revolution is already brewing in Temesvár, but in Bucharest,
a New Year’s Eve’s greeting of the dictator is being hastily filmed. Six stories, one crumbling
regime and lots of minor decisions that will shape history. This masterfully crafted
tragicomedy about the end of the world that seemed to last forever won two major awards at
the Venice Film Festival.
