The Story of My Wife

Seasoned freighter captain Jakob Störr makes a bet that he will marry the first woman who enters the room. And it seems to pay off. He finds the charming Lizzy, with whom he begins to build a romantic relationship. But the fairy tale story soon spirals down into a labyrinth of ambiguous relationships over which Jakob loses control – almost as if he were on a stormy sea.
