ARAS Presents: Mental Health and Well-Being in Audiovisual Industry

We will present the first survey on mental and physical health, well-being and job satisfaction in the Czech audiovisual industry. Inspired by British research, the Insight study highlights the challenges which confront professional filmmakers across all sectors, ranging from burnout to poor work-life balance. We will discuss the positive effects of early intervention, especially on the quality of life and the sector’s sustainability. The presentation of the first ever survey on mental and physical health, well-being and job satisfaction in the Czech audiovisual industry.This survey, inspired by similar UK studies, highlights the challenges which confront professional filmmakers across all sectors, ranging from burnout to poor work-life balance. We will discuss the key findings and their implications as well as the positive effects of early intervention, especially on the quality of life and the sector’s sustainability.
