Hot TV: Television in Relation to Other Media

Television has always been a hybrid medium. It borrowed something from film, something from radio, something from theatre and so on. How does this hybridity manifest itself today? How can we perceive television in relation to other media? We tend to see the media as separate or opposed entities. But in fact, they have a lot in common. In this talk, both audiovisual artists and academics will offer their perspectives.
