Mami Wata is a Nigerian fantasy thriller about a powerful water deity worshipped by the inhabitants of the small village of Iyi. Mami Wata ensures that they live in perfect harmony. But life in the village may not be as idyllic as it seems. Religion faces a severe ordeal when a stranger arrives with no intention of respecting local customs.
