Maher works in a brick factory. During the day, he builds a dam on the Nile River, but after work, he secretly ventures into the desert to construct a mysterious structure out of mud and clay. As the Sudanese people rise up and demand freedom, his dark creation comes to life… How is civilization born from matter? A film as a myth about history being made here and now.
