Voxpot: Africa Is Not a State

You have certainly heard the phrase “black continent”. Yes, it refers to Africa. However, this term, commonly used in the Czech Republic, carries racist and colonialist connotations. It reflects the prism through which we view this continent from Europe. Come to hear a slightly different story that may upset many a racist. Most of what we know about Africa may not be entirely true.
