Bed Time Story

Jiří Krejčík’s comedy Bed Time Story is based on a theatrical play by Irish playwright Seán O’Casey and, with lightness and ironic detachment, tells the story of Anděla, a young woman who finds herself in a lodging house where female visitors are strictly forbidden. What follows is a clever interplay of disguises, misunderstandings, and romantic entanglements, in which the world of convention clashes with the desire for freedom.
